Practices

1. Seek the Best, Not Your Favorite Tool.

We’re here to solve problems — not to serve our personal preferences. We go with what works best, whether it’s a tried-and-true method or the newest thing out there. Changing your mind is a sign of maturity, not weakness.

❌ Don’t fall in love with an idea just because it’s yours, or a tool just because you know it well. The best solution might be outside your comfort zone.

2. Dynamic Work, Never Dull.

We make work creative, fun, and stimulating — and that means staying out of routine. Too much repetition dulls thinking and drains creative energy. Whenever possible, we automate the repetitive and focus on what needs thought, empathy, and invention.

❌ Don’t get comfortable doing repetitive tasks like it’s normal. What can be automated should be — by a machine, not by you.

3. Simplicity Is the New Sophistication.

We believe simple solutions are elegant, effective, and smart. The clearer the answer, the less explaining or documentation it needs. We’re not anti-docs — we just believe they should be the exception, not the default.

❌ Unnecessary complexity is disguised ego. If your solution needs a manual to work, something’s wrong.

4. Brainpower Is the Most Valuable Tool.

We value people who learn — fast, deeply, and practically. Diplomas and certificates are fine, but they don’t replace curiosity, critical thinking, or adaptability. What matters is how you think, connect ideas, and solve problems.

❌ Don’t think a finished course means you’re done learning. Around here, that’s just the starting line.

5. Quick, Smart Iteration.

We don’t do long, linear projects. We believe in fast cycles, small tests, and constant learning. We work iteratively, based on the 80/20 principle — we focus on what brings the most value now, then refine from there. Deliver, review, adjust — repeat.

❌ Don’t wait for perfection before showing your work. That only causes delays, frustration, and paralysis.

6. Less Me, More We.

No one wins alone here. We grow together, we support each other, and we win as a team. When someone levels up, they pull others with them. When someone needs help, we step in.

❌ Don’t act like a lone star. Real shine comes from real collaboration.

7. Complexity Is Just a Bunch of Simples.

We’re not impressed by “complex.” Everything complex was built from a series of simple, well-executed steps. We focus on understanding and executing those steps clearly, responsibly, and efficiently.

❌ Don’t brag about doing something “hard.” What’s hard is keeping it simple — consistently. If you truly understand it, you can simplify it.

8. Plans Change. The Best Adapt.

Plans are just smart guesses based on current assumptions. Assumptions fail. Reality shifts. Adjusting your plan is part of the skill. Plan often — not less. Shorter timelines lead to sharper plans. We want people who can adapt on the fly without clinging to the script.

❌ Blind loyalty to the plan just slows everything down.

9. Aligned Teams, Not Attached Teams.

Our teams are tightly aligned on goals — but free to execute their way. We don’t need a hundred meetings to make every call. We believe in strategic alignment and tactical autonomy. We avoid interdependence wherever possible.

❌ Don’t over-sync. Being organized shouldn’t mean getting stuck.

10. Meetings Aren’t Free. Tools Aren’t Always Expensive.

Meetings are a last resort — not a first move. Five people in a room for an hour isn’t a one-hour meeting, it’s a five-hour cost. That tool that looks expensive? It might get the job done in 10% of the time. Worth it? Maybe. Always weigh cost and value.

❌ Don’t waste resources. Make smart calls with a sense of financial reality.

11. Compete With Yourself, Not Others.

Here, people are encouraged to push their own limits — not to beat coworkers. Growth is constant and intentional. Feedback is a gift, not an insult. It doesn’t shrink your value — it expands your potential. Your challenge is your best version from yesterday.

❌ Don’t see feedback as an attack or a comparison. Around here, growth is a personal choice — and it’s on you.

12. The Right Team Is the Right Size.

We don’t want to be huge or tiny — just the right size for the moment. Too small, and we lose momentum. Too big, and we lose focus and speed. The ideal size communicates well, moves fast, and knows what matters. It’s about fit, not headcount.

❌ Don’t confuse “more people” with “more results.” When teams get too big, rhythm breaks down.

13. Daily Focus on the Work.

We keep our eyes on what we deliver to the world. Our work is focused on creating the best product possible — for the client, the business, and ourselves. Every critique, every comment, every tweak is about that. Work can (and should!) be rigorously questioned — but never taken personally.

❌ Don’t take feedback personally or hold back your thoughts out of fear. Honest dialogue builds strong products.

14. Feedback Happens Now — Not on the Calendar.

Feedback here is direct, ongoing, and part of daily life — like any real, committed relationship. Everyone wants to do great work, and we know that getting better means hearing feedback quickly. We don’t waste time on performance spreadsheets or over-designed rituals. We prefer real conversations, in real time, focused on what needs to get better.

❌ Don’t turn feedback into bureaucracy or drama. Too much process kills momentum.

15. No Backstage Deals.

We’re a digital, remote-first, straight-up company. Everything we do runs on transparency. We don’t do backchannel deals, hidden exceptions, or anything off-record. Our pricing is clear. Our communication is written. Our decisions are public.

❌ No shortcuts. No exceptions. No informal deals. Here, it’s black and white — that’s how trust is built.
